I am a professional software developer currently serving up web and mobile apps with React, React Native, JavaScript (ES2015+) and related technologies such as Redux, Redux Saga and lodash/fp. I am a functional programming enthusiast and love applying FP paradigms in JavaScript.

I have been creating mobile apps since 2009 and React apps since 2016 and have worked with many companies to help them to bring their apps to market.

What I Did Before

I started off my career in the networking domain as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Professional and have deployed and maintained a wide range of network services including web servers, forward and reverse proxies, firewalls, mail servers and directory services.

A graduate of the Master of Data Science program at the University of British Columbia, I am a Data Science and Data Engineering enthusiast. I write blog posts on statistics, machine learning and other topics related to data science.
